Nottingham City NUT has two kinds of regular meetings.
General Meetings:
These take place at least once each term. The dates are given on the right of this page. All members are invited to attend general meetings and are urged to do so. Participation keeps you informed about your rights as a teacher and current developments in Education. Your contribution also helps to shape our policy as a Union.

Council Meetings:
A meeting of Division Officers and Council Members takes place each month in term time (usually on the first Thursday of the month but the second if this first falls in a school holiday). This committee makes decisions about the management of Nottingham NUT and particularly about our negotiations with the employers of our members. In most cases this is Nottingham City Council but increasingly teachers who work for other employers in Nottingham are also represented .
