National Executive Elections

This term the two yearly elections to the National Executive take place.  The Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire constituency is represented by one member of the Executive.

The National Executive play a very important role in the management of the Union’s campaigns on vital issues like pensions.

Having a strong and effective voice on the Executive is important for all members in Nottingham.  A general meeting of members last term decided to nominate and support Liam Conway - Joint Secretary of Nottinghamshire NUT.

The election is being contested and Nottingham City strongly urges you to vote for Liam.

There will be an opportunity to listen to and question both nominated candidates who will be invited to attend our General Meeting on 1st March 2012.  We urge you to attend.
