Petition by School Based Staff in Nottingham City

against the introduction of a 5-term school year.

It is the intention of Unions in Nottingham City to take out a dispute in relation to the introduction of the five- term year. It is the view of Trades Unions that this decision has been introduced against the overwhelming proportion of professionals who are not in favour of its introduction. We therefore ask you to support the dispute by signing the petition below.

The detail of the Council proposal is that;


To gain maximum saturation of this petition it is being sent out by all Unions  We ask that you only complete it once and try to organize all employees to sign online below or to return paper copies as a block.


We the undersigned pledge our support to Nottingham City Trade Unions to campaign to reverse the decision by Nottingham City Council to implement a 5-term holiday pattern.
