30th November Pensions Strike
Thousands of Nottingham public sector workers
took strike action on 30th November.
An estimated 10,000 strikers from unions representing workers across the public sector took part in the biggest protest march and rally in over a generation.
Assembling at the Forest Recreation Ground, protesters marched down Mansfield Road into the Old Market Square before proceeding to the Albert Hall for a strike rally.
Along the route of the march drivers sounded horns in support and as protesters passed the Victoria Centre, the route was lined with members of the public applauding the march.
Nottingham NUT wish to thank all those who took strike action today and all those who supported the protest.
Almost all Nottingham Schools were closed or partially closed.
Here are some photos taken during the protest march.
